A Selection of
Print Projects

Through my career and education I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some complicated large projects. I’ve also been able to work on some smaller print work as well.

Below you can see a selection of this work.

Headlong - Jacket Design

Ron MacLean is an award winning fiction writer based out of Boston. After finishing his third novel, “Headlong”, he reached out with a general idea of what he wanted for his jacket design. He had a sketch to use for the title inspiration, and a general color scheme. The goals were to show motion, a sense of intrigue, the idea of someone leaving, and to hint at potential danger. “Headlong” won the Best Mystery of 2013 Indie Book Award.

Nor’easters - Poster Design

The award winning A capella group on the Northeastern campus, the Nor’Easters, asked me to work together with photographer Melissa Sinclair to create posters and an album cover for a release party.

Working with a short time frame but fantastic photography, we were able to get out posters and a cover that really stood out from the other student organization products.

Social Media Strategy - White Paper

I was hired by an up and coming social media strategy company, UberVu, to design a large white paper they had written. The company had a fresh, fun, and clean style about them and wanted to keep the engaging elements of social media included in a large written piece.

Snow White - Book Design

As a study in typography, I was assigned “Snow White” by Donald Barthelme. This version of the story is a creative interpretation so the instructions were to have fun with the words and type treatment where we saw fit. This exercise was one of my favorite and more challenging in an advanced typography course.

Sine-Wave - One Sheet

While working with Beehive Media, I was asked to work on our client, Sine-Wave’s, one sheeter. They had a lot of information they wanted to fit on to two sides of a paper and I worked worked with their current branding and look & feel on this promotional material.
